Local vault & migration
The development build now includes a local encrypted vault, passphrase unlock and locking, encrypted backups, and local import foundations. Security review, recovery testing, independent interoperability, and production migration coverage remain open.

iCloud, biometric unlock, purchase restoration, and Apple AutoFill have development implementations. They still require provisioning and live device validation before release.

Is UnumVault a subscription?
No. The planned launch price is €29.99, paid once for a shared Mac + iPhone unlock. There is no UnumVault subscription. The app is in development and sales haven’t started. The future major-upgrade policy will be published before sales begin.
Can I bring my existing passwords?
That’s a core launch goal. Local import foundations are implemented for 1Password 1PUX, Bitwarden plaintext JSON, and Apple Passwords CSV. The development workflow previews coverage and duplicates. Actual source-version coverage and production migration still need validation before public release.
Will my vault sync between Mac and iPhone?
Optional encrypted iCloud sync is planned. Your devices will keep a local vault for offline access. Sync requires your iCloud account and available storage; any Apple storage-plan fees are separate from the UnumVault purchase.
What about authenticator codes and passkeys?
Time-based authenticator generation, manual setup, and QR input are implemented in development code. Camera scanning, seed migration, and native code AutoFill still need live device and release validation. Passkeys and their migration are a separate future milestone.
Can I download or buy it now?
Not yet. Local encryption and import foundations are implemented in development code. Security review, interoperability, migration coverage, and live Apple integration validation are still underway. Downloads, exact requirements, and the App Store purchase will appear when a release is ready.
Does one purchase include updates forever?
We haven’t committed to a lifetime-updates promise. Your purchase is intended to unlock the Mac and iPhone app versions offered at launch. We’ll state the update and future-upgrade policy clearly before you pay.
